This farmhouse is a reflection of a family history intertwined with the traditions of the Tuscan countryside. Every corner of the property tells a piece of the past, an unbreakable bond with the land that saw us grow up and with the culture we wish to share with our guests. The roots of this story lie in the heart of the Chianti hills, among vineyards and olive groves that we have cultivated with passion for generations. We invite you to discover this tale of dedication and love for our land, and to become part of its evolution, uniting the past and the present in a unique and authentic experience.
Il Villino has its roots in a family tradition that began in 1947, just after World War II, when Guido Bracco bought the property, then a ruin nestled in the enchanting Chianti hills. With passion and commitment, Guido restored the farmhouse and started the cultivation of olive trees and vines that are still the heart of our business.
In 1985, with the renovation of the old barn, a symbol of our long agricultural history, a new chapter opened. The barn was converted into two cozy apartments, marking the beginning of our agritourism business. Since then, we have continued to expand, always maintaining strong ties to our roots and Tuscan tradition.
In 2017, the old farmhouse as well as the manor house received new life through a meticulous restoration of the second floor. The spacious halls, cozy rooms and charming terrace have been restored to their former glory, offering guests the opportunity to experience immersed in the authenticity of Chianti.
In 2024, our story continues with the renovation of the ground floor of the manor house, a place steeped in history, once the home of the farmer who tended the vineyards and his family. These rooms have been restored with the aim of keeping alive the authentic atmosphere of the past, bringing back real pieces of our history.
